In line with the Renewed Hope Agenda and efforts to build effective economic partnerships with progressive nations, Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu led a delegation to the Special Economic Zone (ZEE) in Luanda, Angola, a major industrial hub designed to facilitate manufacturing, trade, and business development. The zone serves as a one-stop center for SMEs, registration, documentation, and other allied services, with the goal of diversifying the economy, attracting investment, boosting national production, and creating jobs by connecting Angolan businesses to regional and global markets.

During the visit, the delegation toured several manufacturing and production plants, including the Roz Bien Spaghetti Factory, witnessing firsthand the entire pasta production process in a facility operated entirely by Africans. The visit highlighted the potential for collaborative initiatives and opportunities for Nigeria to leverage its abundant natural resources while strengthening bilateral trade relations.

The delegation underscored Nigeria’s commitment to exploring strategic investment and development opportunities in Angola, aiming to enhance efficiency, sustainability, and competitiveness in the country’s manufacturing sector. By fostering strong economic ties, Nigeria seeks to expand industrial capacity, promote entrepreneurship, and strengthen the nation’s role in regional and global markets.
