National Security Chiefs Highlight Progress in Tackling Insecurity
The National Security Adviser (NSA) Nuhu Ribadu and Chief of Defence and Staff (CDS) General Christopher Musa addressed an interactive forum at Arewa House in Kaduna, discussing the state of national security under President Bola Tinubu's administration.
Ribadu emphasized that Nigeria has faced over two decades of insecurity, including Niger Delta agitation, Boko Haram, banditry, and separatist groups like IPOB. CDS Musa reaffirmed the armed forces' commitment to ensuring peace and security in Nigeria. He emphasized the importance of collaboration, professionalism, and collective action in addressing security challenges. Musa also highlighted the need to engage communities and youths in preventing insecurity, and praised the Nigerian Air Force and other security agencies for their effectiveness.
