The Group Chief Executive Officer of NNPC Limited, Engr. Bashir Bayo Ojulari, yesterday hosted a delegation from the Nigerian Society of Chemical Engineers (NSChE) at the NNPC Towers, Abuja. The team was led by the National President, Engr. Olarewaju-Alo B. Olumuyiwa.
Discussions focused on deepening collaboration to advance Nigeria’s energy sector, with key areas including process safety, refinery upgrades, industrialisation, and sustainable development.
The NSChE delegation highlighted several of its initiatives, notably the Process Safety Initiative of Nigeria (PSIN) and efforts to strengthen academia–industry partnerships to bridge skills gaps and promote innovation.
Both the NNPC and NSChE reaffirmed their commitment to fostering technological innovation, building capacity in the energy sector, and creating long-term value for the industry, the engineering profession, and the nation at large.
