The Speaker of the Bauchi State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Dr. Abubakar Y. Suleiman (Dangaladiman Ningi), has extended a compassionate hand to victims of a recent fire outbreak in Warji Local Government Area by distributing relief materials and essential commodities.
Demonstrating empathy beyond his Ningi Constituency, Dr. Suleiman assessed the needs of the affected families and provided a range of items aimed at alleviating the impact of property losses. The donations included 30 bags of rice, 30 cartons of spaghetti, 10 gallons of cooking oil, 10 bags of sugar, 30 mats, 60 thick blankets, and 70 sets of children’s clothing, amounting to a total value of ₦3,249,000.
The Speaker’s gesture was met with appreciation from beneficiaries, who noted that the assistance arrived at a critical time. Many of them prayed for the Speaker’s continued success and for his future aspirations to be realized, recognizing his generosity as inclusive, transcending region, faith, and tribe.
The relief effort underscores Dr. Suleiman’s commitment to the welfare of all Bauchi residents and highlights his proactive approach in responding to emergencies affecting the state’s communities.
