The Governor of Taraba State, Dr. Agbu Kefas, has restated his administration’s unwavering commitment to building a united, transparent, and development-driven Taraba.
Governor Kefas made this known today while receiving the President of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Comrade Alhassan Yahaya, at the TY Danjuma House in Jalingo, during a courtesy visit by the national leadership of the union.
In his remarks, the Governor emphasized that his administration remains focused on laying a solid foundation for the sustainable development of Taraba State, noting that progress can only be achieved through unity, accountability, and inclusiveness.
“We are committed to uniting Taraba, enhancing infrastructure, and ensuring press freedom,” Dr. Kefas said, adding that the government values the role of journalists as partners in progress and vital stakeholders in promoting good governance.
He further assured that his administration will continue to welcome constructive feedback and collaborate with the media to strengthen transparency and public trust, in line with democratic principles and responsible governance.
