Following the conclusion of voting across all 21 local government areas of Anambra State on Saturday, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has uploaded 82.76% of results on its Result Viewing Portal (IReV).
A check by Stone Reporter News on the IReV portal at 5:25 p.m. indicated that results from 4,734 polling units had been uploaded out of a total of 5,720 units, reflecting the ongoing collation process as officials continue to compile and transmit results from the remaining units.
INEC had previously assured stakeholders that results would be released progressively and transparently, following thorough verification to maintain the integrity of the election.
Observers noted that while a significant portion of the results is now available, the final outcome will only be confirmed once data from all polling units have been fully collated and officially declared by the commission, underscoring the meticulous approach to ensuring a credible election.
