
Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, has formally received cadet pilots and engineers who recently returned to the state after undergoing specialized training in France and Ethiopia.
Speaking during the reception, the Governor expressed delight at their successful completion of the programme, noting that the cadets represent the future of the state’s aviation sector. He emphasized that their youthful energy and commitment would play a significant role in strengthening the operations of Ibom Air.
Governor Eno also paid tribute to his predecessor, Mr. Udom Emmanuel, CON, for his foresight in establishing Ibom Air and initiating the sponsorship of the cadets to world-class aviation academies abroad. He said the state remains committed to investing in human capacity development as part of its long-term vision for economic growth and self-reliance.
