PDP Reschedules Proposed Repeat Congress in Anambra and Ebonyi States

The National Working Committee (NWC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has announced the rescheduling of the proposed 2025 Repeat Ward, Local Government, and State Congresses in Anambra and Ebonyi States.

Originally slated for Saturday, 20th September, Wednesday, 24th September, and Monday, 29th September, 2025, the congresses have been postponed to new dates that will be communicated in due course, the party stated.

According to a statement signed by Hon. Debo Olugunagba, National Publicity Secretary of the PDP, the decision was taken to allow further consultations among party leaders, stakeholders, and members in the respective states, with the aim of ensuring a smooth and credible conduct of the exercises.

The statement urged all aspirants, leaders, party members, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), security agencies, democracy development partners, the media, and the general public to take note of the changes.

The NWC further appealed to PDP members in Anambra and Ebonyi States to remain united and committed to the overall progress and interest of the party.
