The Lagos State Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture has formally endorsed Damilola Bolarinde, who will represent Lagos in the upcoming Miss Universe Nigeria 2025 competition.
Damilola’s journey, from her early participation in Lagos pageantry to her current national stage bid, reflects the creative, resilient, and audacious spirit of Lagos youth in fashion and the broader creative industry.
Speaking on the development, Special Adviser to the Governor on Tourism, Arts and Culture, Mr. Idris Aregbe, said representatives of Miss Lagos had officially sought the state’s endorsement ahead of the grand finale on Saturday, August 30, 2025.
“It is our duty as a government to support her zeal in showcasing the Lagos story on the national stage,” Aregbe said.
Beyond her achievements in fashion and beauty, Damilola has actively championed social advocacy and cultural representation, making her a fitting ambassador for the values Lagos holds dear.
As the competition reaches its final stages, the Ministry encouraged Lagosians to support Damilola by voting through the official platform, urging the public to rally behind their representative and raise the Lagos flag high at the Miss Universe Nigeria 2025 grand finale.
