Plateau State made a strong showing at the 80th United Nations General Assembly (UNGA 80), reinforcing its dedication to the 2030 Global Agenda.

Governor Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang led the delegation, highlighting his administration’s resolve to align state development with global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). He was joined by Mrs. Nanbam Danjuma (Lot), Project Coordinator for Plateau State SDGs, who engaged partners on expanding grassroots-focused initiatives.

Also present was Hon. Manji Wilson, Chief Technical Adviser for Development Partnerships and Diaspora Engagement, who strengthened ties with global and diaspora stakeholders. The delegation further collaborated with UN Deputy Secretary-General, Ms. Amina J. Mohammed, whose leadership continues to inspire subnational action on the SDGs.

The delegation’s engagement at UNGA 80 underscores Plateau State’s drive under Governor Mutfwang to translate international partnerships into practical local impact for both Plateau and Nigeria.
