The Corps Marshal of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Shehu Mohammed, has warmly welcomed the Director General of the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), Kashifu Inuwa Abdullahi, to the FRSC National Headquarters in Abuja.
The visit, which took place earlier this week, was in line with the DG’s commitment to uphold road safety standards as he personally renewed his National Driver’s Licence at the Corps office.
The renewal, carried out in full compliance with official procedures, signifies Abdullahi’s support for the FRSC’s mandate of ensuring safety on Nigerian roads and fostering a culture of lawful and responsible driving.
Corps Marshal Mohammed commended the NITDA DG for leading by example and demonstrating dedication to the values of safety, accountability, and civic responsibility.
> “When leaders comply with road safety laws and procedures, it sends a powerful message to the public. This is a strong show of support for the FRSC’s work,” the Corps Marshal said.
The visit also underscores the ongoing collaboration between the FRSC and NITDA in leveraging technology to enhance road safety and public service delivery.
