Police Seek Help to Reunite 10-Year-Old Boy Found in Numan with Parents

The Adamawa State Police Command has announced the discovery of a young boy identified as Dahiru Iliya, aged 10, who was found in Numan Local Government Area on September 2, 2025.

According to the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) in Numan, Dahiru revealed that he hails from Jinkai Village in Kaltungo Local Government Area of Gombe State. He further stated that he was brought from Gombe and later abandoned in Gwalam, Numan.

The Police Command is appealing to members of the public to assist with credible information that could help trace and reunite Dahiru with his parents or guardians.

Parents, guardians, or anyone with useful information are urged to contact the DPO Numan on 07067730606 or reach the office of the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) on 08065604764.

SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje, ANIPR, the PPRO of the Command, reassured the public that every effort is being made to ensure the safety and proper care of the child until he is reunited with his family.
