Taraba State Governor, Dr. Agbu Kefas, is set to embark on a statewide listening tour starting Monday, September 22, 2025. The initiative is aimed at engaging directly with citizens across the state to better understand their challenges and priorities.
According to the governor, the exercise will serve as a platform for communities to voice their most pressing needs and guide the government’s upcoming development agenda. The tour comes just weeks before the rollout of large-scale infrastructural projects scheduled to commence in October.
Governor Kefas noted that genuine progress must reflect the realities of the people, stressing that the tour would help align government projects with local demands. He added that beyond reshaping Taraba’s physical infrastructure, his administration is determined to ensure that development translates into real improvements in the lives of residents.
Reaffirming his commitment to transparency and inclusivity, the governor assured citizens that their voices will remain central to decision-making. He also pledged that this listening exercise will mark the beginning of continuous engagements between his administration and the people of Taraba.
