PDP Holds National Working Committee Meeting, Eyes 2027 Southern Presidency

His Excellency, Ambassador Umar IIiya Damagum, National Chairman of the main opposition party, the People's Democratic Party (PDP), presided over the party’s National Working Committee (NWC) meeting, reaffirming the party’s commitment to national unity and strategic planning ahead of future elections.

During the session, party leaders discussed key political strategies and emphasized that the 2027 Southern Presidency under the PDP is achievable, describing it as “PO-ssible” with collective effort and grassroots mobilization. The meeting highlighted the party’s focus on empowering citizens and ensuring that the voice of the people guides the nation’s democratic trajectory.
