Controversial Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, was involved in a highly publicised altercation with online personalities Carter Efe and Hamzat Kolu at his Odogwu Bar in Sango, Ogun State, after the duo and their entourage reportedly arrived unannounced, leading to a heated confrontation that drew police attention and widespread social media reaction.
According to multiple viral video clips circulating on social platforms, the drama unfolded late on Wednesday evening when Carter Efe — a well-known Nigerian comedian, streamer and musician — and his associate Kolu visited Portable without prior notice. The visit took place amid ongoing tension between Portable and the content creators, reportedly linked to previous disputes and personal disagreements documented in online content and livestreams.
Upon their arrival at the bar, what was initially intended to be a social stop quickly escalated into verbal exchanges. Portable confronted Carter Efe and Kolu about the purpose of their unannounced visit and questioned why they showed up without formal communication. Footage shared online captures Portable challenging the visitors, visibly agitated and demanding answers about their intentions.
Eyewitness accounts and video snippets show tensions rising sharply when Portable accused the group of arriving with armed personnel and, in the ensuing argument, accused Carter Efe of snatching some of his associates — a claim tied to past disputes over content creation and collaboration rights.
