The Director-General of the World Trade Organization (WTO), Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, convened a high-level roundtable with leaders of the Nigerian private sector, including representatives of both the organized private sector and small and medium enterprises (SMEs), to deliberate on pressing issues within the economy.
The discussions centered on investment, production, and finance, highlighting both the challenges facing businesses in Nigeria and the opportunities for growth.

Dr. Okonjo-Iweala commended the resilience of Nigerian entrepreneurs and reiterated the importance of public-private sector collaboration in tackling economic challenges and driving sustainable growth.
