Ibrahim Abdullahi Waiya has sent yet another strong political message to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, urging him to “shine his eyes” following the outcome of the just-concluded bye-elections in Kano State.

Waiya described the elections as a true reflection of the political reality on ground, noting that the exercise showcased who genuinely holds influence in Kano politics and enjoys the support of the masses.

He dismissed what he called “agbado politicians,” accusing them of being “good at beating empty drums and making noise without political relevance.”

In a bold declaration, he concluded:
“Kano belongs to Kwankwasiyya, no more, no less.”

The statement has stirred discussions across political circles, highlighting the continued dominance of the Kwankwasiyya movement in Kano’s political landscape.
