The Honorable Minister of State for Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction has received a delegation from the Defence and Police Officers Wives Association (DEPOWA), reiterating the government’s commitment to enhancing the welfare and empowerment of military families.
During the meeting, the Minister emphasized the importance of collaboration with DEPOWA in delivering programs aimed at supporting widows and children of Nigeria’s fallen heroes. He highlighted the role of such initiatives in promoting national stability and ensuring that military families receive consistent assistance and opportunities for development.
The engagement also provided a platform to discuss ongoing and future programs designed to strengthen social support for military families and enhance their access to education, skills training, and welfare services.
