The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) has uncovered an unregistered feed mill operating illegally in Kaduna State, producing chicken feed products without regulatory approval.
During the raid, officials discovered 200 bags (25kg each) of Nurture Feeds Grower Mash and Nurture Feeds Layer Mash, which were immediately placed on hold pending further investigation. NAFDAC emphasized that the operation underscores its ongoing commitment to ensuring the safety, quality, and compliance of agricultural and food products across Nigeria.
The agency has assured the public that strict measures will be taken against operators flouting regulatory guidelines, and investigations are ongoing to determine the full scope of the illegal activities.
