Amnesty International has paid a visit to the National Commission for Persons With Disabilities (NCPWD), marking the first step in a collaborative effort to promote, protect, and prioritize the rights of persons with disabilities in Nigeria.

The visit, which took place on Thursday, 6 November 2025, focused on mapping out key areas of human rights concern affecting persons with disabilities across the country.
