The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has officially confirmed former Senate President David Mark and other senior figures as the recognized leaders of the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
The confirmation marks a significant milestone for the party, which has consistently presented itself as a credible alternative to the dominant political establishment. According to the ADC, the development reflects the people’s growing discontent with corruption, hunger, and unfulfilled promises that have plagued governance in Nigeria.
Balarabe Rufa’i, the National Youth Leader of the ADC, described the recognition as a clear indication that the ADC has emerged as a true party of the people. He emphasized that Nigerians are seeking justice, fairness, and genuine leadership rather than what he termed “fantastically disruptive minds.”
Rufa’i further stated that the era of betrayal in politics is over, declaring that the confirmation by INEC signals the beginning of a new chapter for both the party and the country. He reiterated the ADC’s commitment to providing an inclusive platform for Nigerians eager for change and better governance.
