President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has hailed the official launch of Nigeria’s first indigenous Methanol and Ammonium Bicarbonate Plant in Ondo State, describing it as a major milestone for the country’s chemical and fertilizer industries.

Speaking at the inauguration, President Tinubu emphasized that the new facility marks a significant step toward industrialization, import substitution, and economic diversification. He highlighted that the plant will reduce Nigeria’s reliance on imported fertilizers and chemicals, create jobs, and provide crucial support for local farmers and manufacturers.
