The police have tracked down and arrested a herbalist linked to the disappearance and suspected murder of an FRSC officer, SRC OO Lasisi, from Ogun State. During questioning, the herbalist admitted that a man named Mr. Victor—who is now wanted by the police—brought the woman to him in Osun State. The herbalist further revealed that Mr. Victor and his friends murdered the officer for suspected ritual purposes.

The case came to light after the Sector Commander of the FRSC in Ogun, CC Leye Adegboyega, along with the Sector Intelligence Officer, visited the Police Commissioner, CP Ibrahim Gotan, regarding the viral news of SRC OO Lasisi’s disappearance. The police confirmed they had arrested a suspected herbalist ritualist connected to the case and ordered further investigation.
Investigations also revealed that Mr. Victor, a friend of SRC OO Lasisi, was declared missing on November 2, 2025, by his wife at the Osun State Police Headquarters. Phone tracking showed Mr. Victor had frequently called a suspected herbalist’s number in Iwoye Ijesa, Osun State.
The herbalist was arrested in Iloko Ijesa and confirmed that SRC OO Lasisi and Mr. Victor had visited him for consultation. The herbalist claimed that Mr. Victor and his friends murdered the officer and dismembered her body, which was found in a sack in a river, without her head.
He also stated that SRC OO Lasisi’s daughter had been staying with him for some days before Mr. Victor and his friends took her away. It is believed the daughter has also been killed, but the herbalist says he did not participate in that act and does not know where the daughter or the body are kept.
The police are actively working to arrest Mr. Victor and other suspects involved in the crime. DNA tests and autopsy examinations will be conducted once the suspects are in custody, especially since the body was dismembered and headless.
The dismembered body was deposited at Osun State Teaching Hospital, Osogbo, on November 17, 2025. Meanwhile, authorities in Osun State continue their efforts to bring all those involved to justice.
