Awka, Nigeria — The Anambra State Police Command has lauded the efforts of its personnel and other security agencies for ensuring a peaceful and incident‑free Yuletide season across the state. In a statement released today, Commissioner of Police CP Ikioye Orutugu acknowledged the dedication, courage, and professionalism demonstrated by officers during the festive period, attributing the calm and safety enjoyed by residents to the effective collaboration between security agencies and the community.
