Nigeria’s Vice President Leads Delegation to G20 Summit in South Africa

The Vice President of Nigeria, Kashim Shettima, has arrived in Johannesburg, South Africa, to attend the G20 Leaders’ Summit. He arrived on Friday evening to represent President Tinubu at this important international event.

After arriving, the Vice President was briefed by Nigeria’s Foreign Affairs Minister, Amb. Yusuf. He also received updates from the Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Mr. Wale Edun, along with other government officials.

These briefings were held in preparation for the upcoming G20 summit meetings, where world leaders will discuss global economic issues.

Originally, President @officialABAT was scheduled to travel to South Africa on Wednesday, November 19, but he is being represented by the Vice President at this year’s summit. Nigeria’s participation is based on an invitation from the current G20 host and South African President, Cyril Ramaphosa.

This visit shows Nigeria’s active involvement in major global economic discussions.
