Abare community in Anka Local Government Area of Zamfara State was thrown into mourning yesterday evening following a violent bandit attack that left two residents dead and a motorcycle stolen.

Eyewitnesses said the assailants struck swiftly, targeting residents in their homes and moving through the community before fleeing. The attack underscores the ongoing insecurity in parts of Zamfara, where banditry continues to threaten lives, property, and local economic activities.
